Borealis

The lack of any sharp edges or reflections combined with the waviness of the trunks suggesting wind (but failing to be consistent when viewed critically) gives an impression of the beginning of a storm just at sunset that is more real than reality itself. Reality always has messy "extras" that my brain must filter out in order to function, classify, and memorize. On the other hand, this impressionistic approach reaches right into my memories of such events in a total way that ignores distracting details and gets to the heart of the event. I now feel like falling asleep to the sound of rain and thunder.
