Beautiful!! I've never worked in charcoal. How do you stop it from smudging? I've tried hairspray with graphite, but it still smudges over time.

Haven't done much either...
I always use hairspray, to stop the worst smudging
and just don't touch it anymore

I guess when you keep it in an archive, with a blank smooth paper over it you can save it for aeons...

Thanks very much for telling me that!! I've kept mine in plastic pockets, but the graphite gets smudged, & although I've never worked with charcoal, I would imagine that it's worse.
